ALCON Insulating Red Spray Coating

Designed to coat surfaces, enhancing the insulation resistance of electrical and electronic devices.

Forms a waterproof and leak-proof film coating, providing protection against corrosion and oxidation.

Ideal for applications in coils, cables, traffic lights, all types of electric motors, billboards, park barrier systems, outdoor lighting fixtures, underwater lighting systems, military vehicles, weapon maintenance and repairs, marine transportation, and more.

Application Instructions

The spray can be easily applied by dipping or using a spray gun. For the best results, follow the procedure below:

1. Ensure the surface is free of scratches, dents, or raised metal burrs.
2. Clean the surface thoroughly, ensuring it is free of oil, dust, and rust.
3. The product can be diluted with xylene or other similar low-cost solvents.
4. Apply the coating evenly for optimal performance.

Application Areas

Provides insulation against arc and corona for transformers, coils, armatures, motor windings, and various parts of electrical generators. Also protects these components from corrosion and moisture.

Warnings

• Surface Preparation: ALCON Insulating Red Spray adheres well to copper and steel. However, contaminants like water, oil, and oily flux residues may reduce adhesion. Ensure the surface is clean before application.
• Do not use on dirty or contaminated surfaces.
• Follow all safety guidelines, and use protective gear during application.
