Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

• Ensure surfaces in contact with the silicone are clean, dry, and free of oil, dust, rust, or loose particles.
• Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with a suitable solvent and wiped before the solvent evaporates.
• Use masking tape for a clean and aligned application and remove it immediately after applying the silicone.
• No primer is required for non-porous surfaces like tiles, ceramics, or glass. However, certain metals and plastics may require a primer.

Application Method

1. Cut the tip of the cartridge and screw on the nozzle.
2. Trim the nozzle to the desired bead thickness.
3. Place the cartridge into a caulking gun and apply the silicone.
4. Smooth the silicone bead within 5 minutes using your finger, a plastic/wooden tool, or a dry spatula.
5. Remove excess silicone before it cures using a suitable solvent; dried silicone can only be removed mechanically.

Recommended Applications

• Sealing around bathtubs, shower enclosures, sinks, and countertops.
• Glazing for windows and door frames.
• General-purpose joint insulation.
• Prefabricated structures.

Warnings

• Not suitable for mirrors or sensitive metals (e.g., lead, copper, brass, silver) due to acid release.
• Avoid using on natural stone or concrete surfaces.
• May lose adhesion over time on surfaces that exude oils, solvents, or plasticizers.
• Not for applications submerged in water continuously.
• Not recommended for surfaces in direct contact with food or drinking water.
• Silicone sealants cannot be painted; avoid applying where painting is required.
