Epoxy Resin and Steel Powder Mixture

An ideal solution for model and mold making, re-molding machine parts, filling cracks, repairing challenging and pre-filled voids, and easily filling casting gaps.

It is used to restore worn parts of old molds to their original condition.

Application Method

Preparation of Adhesion Material

The surfaces should be cleaned of water, oil, rust, and dirt. If the surface is glossy, it should be roughened using sandpaper or files.

Application

LIQUID ALCON B is provided in two components:

• Black resin is spread on both sides of the parts to be bonded.
• 1 part hardener (by weight) is thoroughly mixed with 3 parts resin (by weight).
• Carefully align and join the parts. Allow time for curing.

Curing

At a room temperature of 25-30°C, curing takes 4–6 hours. For accelerated curing, place the parts in flameless heating at 70-90°C; the desired results will be achieved in 2–3 hours.

Applications

Perfect for model and mold making, re-molding machine parts, filling cracks and challenging voids, and easily repairing casting gaps. Also suitable for restoring worn parts of old molds to their original condition.

Warnings

• Store under lock and key, out of reach of children.
• Avoid contact with skin.
• Rinse immediately with plenty of water if contact occurs and avoid contact with eyes.
• In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water.
• Use suitable protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection.
• In case of an accident or if you feel unwell, consult a doctor immediately.
• Avoid releasing into the environment.
