It is a mixture of epoxy resins and steel powders, which strongly bonds to many metals such as steel, cast iron, and other metals, concrete, and certain hard plastics.
It is safely used for bonding broken machine parts, filling casting defects and gaps, repairing punctured tanks, storage tanks, and pipes, as well as coating and protecting damaged or worn metal surfaces due to friction.
Product Features:
- Easily applied to vertical surfaces.
- Bonds to aluminum, steel, and many other metals, as well as concrete.
- Processable on metallic surfaces.
- Provides rust-free repairs.
- Resistant to chemicals, most acids, bases, solvents, and alkalis.

Application Method:
- The surface must be clean, sanded, and if possible, lightly abraded, dry, and free of rust to ensure proper adhesion. Sanding the surface is the ideal process. Then, clean the surface with an appropriate degreaser or solvent and complete the bonding without allowing oxidation of the surface.
- Please refer to the mixing ratio chart on the product container for the correct resin and hardener ratios. Add the hardener to the resin and mix thoroughly for about 4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is achieved (Alcon 5 Minute SF product will set in 5 minutes. Mixing should be completed within 1-2 minutes). Mix both in circular and bottom-to-top movements.
- For paste types, spread with a similar tool such as a putty knife, applying the epoxy to the prepared surface. For liquid types, first apply one coat to the prepared surface with a brush, and then gently pour the remaining liquid from the edge of the cavity mold without creating air bubbles.
Spread the mixed material over the repair area, ensuring firm contact with the underlying surface to maximize surface adhesion. The Plastic Steel Paste (A) fully cures within 16 hours, during which it is machinable, drillable, or paintable.
Application Areas:
Epoxy resins and steel powder mixtures bond strongly to metals like steel, cast iron, and other metals, concrete, and certain hard plastics.
Warnings:
Harmful to the environment.
