ALCOBOND: High-Performance Epoxy Patch and Repair Kit

ALCOBOND is a high-performance epoxy patch and repair system, primarily used in ship maintenance, factories, and production facilities. It is ideal for repairing pipes, flanges, gasket areas, storage tanks, machinery, and depots, as well as applications like heat condensers and other characteristic repair spots.

Carbon fabrics, Kevlar fabrics, and fiberglass tapes can be used to create practical and strong repairs.

• After curing, ALCOBOND is resistant to fuels, water, oil, vibration, and moderate heat.

Application Instructions

Pipe Maintenance:

• Use a brush soaked in ALCOBOND to apply the product to the surface.
• Apply a shiny fiber tape to the area, ensuring the tape is tightly wrapped around the pipe. If necessary, ensure it doesn't loosen by tying it with an appropriate string.

Patch Maintenance:

• For larger gaps or collision damage, first apply a stiff screen wire, then apply the patch.

Mixing and Application:

1. Mix the resin and activator (catalyst) from the packaging thoroughly for at least 1 minute.
2. The mixture should be used within 15-20 minutes after mixing.

Curing:

• At room temperature (25-30°C), the material will cure in approximately 1 hour.

• Pipes, flanges, gasket areas, storage tanks, machinery, and depots
• Repairing heat condensers and similar high-wear applications
• Using carbon fabrics, Kevlar fabrics, and fiberglass tapes for strong repairs

Warnings

• Store in a locked and child-safe place.
• Avoid skin contact.
• In case of skin contact, wash immediately with plenty of water.
• If the product comes into contact with eyes, rinse immediately and seek medical attention.
• Use protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection.
• Avoid releasing the product into the environment.
