ALSONA 7111: Two-Component Polymer System for Repair and Mold Production

This two-component, reinforced polymer system material is designed for repairing, filling, and producing new parts and molds. ALSONA 7111 offers quick and effective solutions for a wide range of engineering applications.

• Curing Time:
  • Initial Cure: 60–90 minutes at 25°C (recommended temperature).
  • Full Cure: Wait for at least 24 hours after application.

Application Instructions

Preparation:

1. Mixing:
   • Pour the steel-filled polymer from the larger container into the smaller container of hardener (special activator).
   • Mix the two components thoroughly for at least 4-5 minutes using a strong spatula until homogeneous.
   • If the environment is cold, heat the mixture to 20–25°C using a heat source, such as a radiator, to ease mixing.
   • The mixture must be used within 20-25 minutes at room temperature (25°C).
2. Surface Preparation:
   • Clean surfaces from dust, oils, and paint residues. Use a solvent like alcohol or Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) for degreasing.
   • If necessary, use mechanical methods such as grinding or sanding to remove stubborn residues.
   • After cleaning, apply immediately to avoid oxidation of the surface.
3. Mixing Ratio:
   • 3 volumes (5 parts by weight) of the steel-filled polymer to
   • 1 volume (1 part by weight) of the activator.

• Large ball bearings (worn ball bearings)
• Brake and mold casings, leaking storage tanks
• Hydraulic pump and housing deformation repairs
• Filling cracks, corrosion, and cavities in machine housings and beds
• Repairing soil holes and elbow cracks
• Repair of worn, damaged, and weakened shafts, axles, and parts
• Filling shaft, stud, and bolt holes and repairing threads

Warnings

• Store in a locked, child-proof location.
• Avoid contact with skin.
• If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if it reaches eyes.
• Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection.
• Avoid releasing the product into the environment.
