Epoxy and High-Density Aluminum-Filled Material

This product enables the creation of models, molds, patterns, prototypes, and lightweight aluminum casting processes.
The highest level of detail can be achieved in the final model.
The leaking filling material ensures repair of the best product range.
It integrates with the material without stress or shrinkage.
Cracks, casting voids, and worn areas can be completely filled and leveled.
Once hardened, the material allows for turning and leveling processes.

Application Method

Preparation of Bonding Material

The surface must be cleaned of water, oil, rust, and dirt. If the surface is glossy, it should be roughened using sandpaper or files.

Application

ALCON F-2 aluminum metal bond is provided in two components:

• Aluminum-colored liquid resin (4 parts by volume, 9 parts by weight)
• White hardener (1 part by volume, 1 part by weight)

Mix thoroughly and apply to both sides of the parts to be bonded. Carefully join the parts.

Curing

Curing takes 4–6 hours at a room temperature of 25–30°C. For faster curing, expose the bonded parts to flameless heating at 70–90°C. The desired result will be achieved within 2–3 hours.

This aluminum-filled product is suitable for creating models, molds, patterns, prototypes, and lightweight aluminum casting processes.

Warnings

• Store under lock and key, out of reach of children.
• Avoid contact with skin.
• Rinse immediately with plenty of water if contact occurs and avoid contact with eyes.
• In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water.
• Use appropriate protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection.
• In case of an accident or if you feel unwell, consult a doctor immediately.
• Avoid releasing into the environment.
