Epoxy Resin and Stainless Steel Powder Mixture

This product is used for repairing stainless steel materials.
It is suitable for completing and bonding parts, filling worn components, repairing connection pipes, assembling and repairing fittings, and providing rust protection to applied materials.

Application Method

Preparation of Bonding Material

Bonded parts or surfaces must be cleaned of water, oil, rust, and dust. If the surface is glossy, it should be roughened using sandpaper or files.

Application

ALCON ST metal bond is provided in two jars:

• 3 parts by volume of gray-colored resin (9 parts by weight),
• 1 part by volume of white hardener (1 part by weight).

Mix thoroughly and apply to both sides of the parts to be bonded. Carefully join the parts and allow them to set.

Curing

Curing takes 4–6 hours at a room temperature of 25–30°C. For faster curing, expose the bonded parts to flameless heating at 70–90°C. The desired result will be achieved within 2–3 hours.

Warnings

• Store under lock and key, out of reach of children.
• Avoid contact with skin.
• Rinse immediately with plenty of water in case of contact and avoid contact with eyes.
• In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water.
• Use appropriate protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection.
• In case of an accident or if you feel unwell, consult a doctor immediately.
• Avoid release into the environment.
